1. What happens if it rains?
What happens if it rains?
All our tours are rain or shine events. We have tried to make them as undercover as possible but please be prepared for rain at all times in Singapore. We suggest you bring an umbrella.
Are your tours suitable for vegetarians and vegans?
Our Little India tour has more vegetarian options than our other tours but we will try to accommodate as best we can. However please bear in mind that our tours were designed with the “I love to eat everything” person in mind so there may be some food stops that you will have to miss out.
Are the food stops you make hygenic?
Singapore has very high hygiene standards and we have strived to ensure these are kept on our tours. Things do happen (very very rarely) however and by making full payment you agree to accept responsibility for everything you eat on our tours.
Are your tours kid friendly?
Yes absolutely. Kids 6 and under can join in for free. We have had a 7 year old who ate everything and loved it all. You know your kids better than we do so if you think it’s something they’d enjoy then please bring them along.
What is your cancellation policy?
24 hours before the start of the tour is the cut off and there is no refund for no shows. If you need to cancel inside the 24 hours we will do our best to re-schedule you at a more convenient time. Prior to 24 hours we can re-schedule or offer a full refund.
What are the group sizes?
We keep our groups small. No more than 8 people. We find this keeps everything personal and more enjoyable for everyone.
Do you do private tours?
Yes you can contact us to arrange a private tour. Perhaps you’d like to specialise in one particular type of food or even one particular dish. Contact us and we can arrange it for you. singapore@bitestours.com
Is gratuity included in the price?
No, if you feel that your guide has done a good job then please feel free to tip. It will be most appreciated.
How much walking is normally involved?
The longest walk we do is about 10 minutes between stops and we always have plenty of rest points as well as restrooms along the way. All in all over 3 hours you will cover about 1,5 km.
Where do the tours meet up?
We will send you a map and detailed instructions to find your meeting spot once you are confirmed on the tour. We will also give you your guides contact number should you need it.
Why are the evening tours more expensive then the day tours?
We tend to eat at different places on our evening tours and so the price changes. Also we have a few more tasting options in the evening.
