Tour Description:
Working closely with the Singapore Tourism Board and the Little India Community, Singabites has curated the Singapore Staycation tour. Explore one of Singapore’s most vibrant communities. Try some of our favourite dishes and support local family run businesses. Our small group tour (maximum 5 guests) will take you into the heart of Little India. You’ll meet vendors and learn the best stalls to shop at. We’ll try local dishes and visit our favourite restaurants and hawker stalls. Your local guide will explain about the history of the area and you’ll have a chance to go behind the scenes and try a unique hands on experience. We want to show you a side of Little India that many people never see.

What you need to know:
– Tour starts every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 10.30am. Pre-booking essential.
– Tour lasts about 2 hours.
– We will be walking for about 1.5km with plenty of stops along the way.
-The tour is suitable for vegetarians also.
-Social distancing, safe check in and out and face masks are all mandatory. Guides will be carrying extra hand sanitizer during the tour.

A few of us did the staycation tour last week and had a great time. We’ve all lived in Singapore for at least 6 years. The tour was led by Shabnam who was great fun and full of facts and stories. We ate the best dosa I’ve ever had and one of the best briyanis. Being a keen photographer I got lots of interesting shots from the spots Shabnam took us to. I’d recommend this tour for anyone who wants to find out some great eating spots and learn more about Little India
